ACTIVITIES OF AIFO: PRIMARY HEALTH CARE PROJECTS

During the past two decades, there has been a gradual and constant increase in AIFO's support to primary health care and community health care, where leprosy control activities are integrated with other health problems. For example, Nampula provincial project was started initially as a vertical leprosy project, but now it deals with different community health programmes in collaboration with provincial department of health.
