Impact of AIFO-supported CBR Programme in Vietnam

Opinions of persons benefiting from different activities of AIFO supported CBR activities in six provinces of Vietnam: As part of mid-term evaluation of a CBR project co-funded by Italian Foreign Ministry, about 2000 persons benefiting from different activities of this project were asked their opinions about the impact of the CBR project on their lives.

Structured questionnaires were prepared for CBR volunteers, CBR supervisors, persons participating in vocational training programmes, persons participating in micro-actions and school teachers who had attended training on inclusive education. These questionnaires were discussed with partners, finalised and translated into Vietnamese.

The questionnaires were distributed to three of the six provinces of Vietnam in December 2009, where AIFO is supporting a CBR programme since 2008, co-funded by Italian Foreign Ministry. Dr Sunil Deepak, head of scientific office of AIFO visited Vietnam in March 2010 for the collectionof completed questionnaires and for field interviews.

Specific data entry programme was prepared based on Epi-Info and all the data from the completed questionnaires was entered.
