As CPO, Oehrig will manage the selection, development, monitoring and evaluation of projects which meet ALM partnership criteria. Oehrig will recommend policy to the President and the ALM Board of directors, and he will facilitate and foster a growing cooperative alliance with The Leprosy Mission International (TMLI), ALM’s sister organization headquartered in the London, UK. Working directly with faith-based partner organizations, Oehrig will strive to assure programmatic sustainability and bolster measurable impact. In addition, Oehrig will participate in international forums to enhance ALM’s position as one of the world’s primary leaders in the global campaign to eradicate leprosy, reduce stigma and provide holistic treatment to people affected with leprosy and Buruli ulcer. ALM President, Christopher J. Doyle welcomes Oehrig’s transition into this new role and is especially optimistic about the impact it will have on ALM and the people the organization serves. “We are pleased to have Jim join our senior management team.
