Dear Dr Noto,

May I suggest that some topics worthy of discussion include:

• the human genome research and its promise in leprosy research;
• risks and possible benefits of anti-inflammation therapies such as Enbrel, Adalimumab, Arava, in the treatment/control of neuritis and reactions in leprosy;
• other treatment updates including genetic therapies;
• experience with vaccines.

I will appreciate if members of the discussion list could suggest possible resources and links to literature on these topics.

Needless to say, sharing of resources and expertise by members active in their respective fields is needed to keep the discussion list active and alive.
