Dear Salvatore,
I do agree with Dr Penumaka (LML Nov. 25th,
2005) about treating for neuritis even if the patient does not
complain.
In my book on Neuritis I say: ”Pardo-Castello in
1947, Khanolkar in 1950 and Job in 1988 have said that in leprosy
there is always Neuritis and there is nothing silent about a neuritis
except the fact that the medical personnel do not, usually, examine
the nerves”.
This I emphasized in various meeting: – Hyderabad in
1991, the Pre-Conference Workshop on Reactions and Neuritis held in
Orlando in 1993.
