Salvatore,
I write this letter to you because it is the only way I
can make my voice heard.
In November – I do not know the exact dates – there
will be or it is already over the National Conference of the Indian
Association of Leprologists. Now I am a life member for the last 20
years; I have not been told by anybody –neither post nor e-mail –
of this conference.
In April this year there was a National Workshop again
organized by the Indian Association of Leprologists. I came to know of this
workshop just today because I got the Indian Journal of Leprosy.
How can be that life-members are not notified of the
National conference or congress or whatever? How does it come the some
people know of all the conference be it national regional local and
other are never been told?
This is not the first time and I know it is not going to
be the last. But I hope this message reaches the people in charge and
compel them to correct their attitude towards the life members.
