The ILEP Technical Commission (ITC)
has posted the following Discussion Documents on the ILEP website:
Ensuring the accuracy of the diagnosis of
leprosy in routine control programs
by Dr Paul Saunderson, member of
the ILEP Technical Commission
and
A
review of evidence of MB relapse rate after MDT
by Dr Baohong Ji, member of the
ILEP Technical Commission
Through its eight experts in different
areas of leprosy work, the ITC provides advice to the Members of
the Federation on technical matters.
In order to provide advice on a particular subject, the ITC
often asks one of its members, or an invited expert, to prepare a
discussion document to serve as input into ITC discussions on this
subject.
By posting these discussion documents
on the ILEP website, it is hoped that more people with expertise in
and experience of the subject under discussion may contribute to the
ITC advisory process. Comment from such people is warmly
invited.

Discussion Documents do not
pretend to be complete; they are documents for
discussion purposes only and will
remain on the website for a limited length of time. The four documents
listed above will be removed prior to the next meeting of the ITC in
early December. These documents do not constitute official ITC
advice
