Dear Dr Noto,

For years our leprosy control programme in the Dominican Republic has detected more multibacillary (MB) new cases of leprosy than paucibacillary (PB) cases, until 2003.  Since then, we are detecting a lot less PB and the same amount of MB.


Do you know why, does anybody knows? Or let me know where to look for the information or for other countries experience.
