Dear Dr Noto,
In the last few years, there has been tremendous
and remarkable improvement in controlling leprosy. But, is there any record
available regarding volume of sale of Rifampicin and Dapsone tabs in
the Indian market? These drugs are used prevalently to treat leprosy. This can reflect approx
patients treated by private practitioners. Most of the patients
treated by private practitioners are not registered. It would be interesting to
validate statistics from this point of view.
