Thank you for presenting these
interesting plots of new case detection in the different regions of
the world (LML May 8th, 2006). They raise
the very serious question that Dr. Ogbeiwi alluded to -- the influence
of changes in case detection.
As emphasis on leprosy work declines,
and little incentive is provided to identify new cases, how valid are
any of these figures?
