text on leprosy.

For any reference I use Dharmendra, Hastings,
Bryceson and Pfaltzgraff. No
other dermatological disease has attained so much respect among
researchers as leprosy and a huge amount of information on every
aspect of leprosy are available.
With the decline of leprosy in endemic areas there is no need
for another text, however, they should be upgraded from time to time.
Regarding ILEP handbook on
diagnosis and treatment of leprosy for medical students / paramedical
workers, I do not have the recent issue. I had gone through it
sometimes back and I feel that it is more than enough to reply a
question on leprosy in examinations.
I would rather recommend that it should be more
simplified and upgraded more frequently. A downloadable version on
internet may also be very helpful.
