text on leprosy.

Dear Salvatore,
Also José Augusto da Costa Nery, Professor of
Dermatology, Santa Casa and FIOCRUZ, Rio de Janeiro, has its doubts
about a new textbook. He
suggests what is most needed and more and more lacking are just the
old-fashioned case-presentations and discussions.
For me, who
started to work in leprosy still in the times of mono-therapy DDS and
leprosaria, it is shocking to find that little of what we think
"common" knowledge and experience, as often and so
vividly expressed by Grace Warren, seems to be available to
doctors working in a decentralised service or even those working
in referral centres.
