Dear Salvatore,
I refer to Dr Deepak’s message (LML Jan. 30th,
2007). It is very
interesting I remember Yaws well!
Patients with part destroyed faces were said to have leprosy!
Thank goodness someone has woken up to the fact that it was
NOT eliminated. And may
be it will help W.H.O. to realize that they are NOT going to
Eliminate leprosy in the next 50 years- maybe control it, but
certainly not eliminate it and if vigilance ceases it will certainly
be back!
