Dear Friends,
It has been brought to our notice that
there is a feeling that the 17th ILC dates may be postponed. We want to assure you that
dates are not going to change and it will take place on the same dates
decided earlier, that is, 30th January to 4th February 2008. There will be Pre-congress
Workshop on 29th Jan 2008 on invitation basis.
All arrangements are going on smoothly. We have already booked the
Venue and we are getting full support from the Government of India,
especially from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Government of India is
sponsoring about 600 delegates and issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC)
for Visa clearance for International delegates for this conference.
We have also discussed the security issues
in Hyderabad. The Venue
has a high level of security for the delegates attending the Congress. You can be rest assured about
the security and will have a safe and memorable event. The Government will ensure the
safety of all the participants both national and international
delegates. So far about
33534 people have visited the website, 400 people registered till
date and 450 abstracts have been received.
Since there had been some misunderstanding
about the conference being organized as scheduled, we have decided to
extend the date of "Early bird
registration by 15th November
2007 (without any late fee) and Abstract
submission by 31st October 2007". The
Coordinators of Scientific sessions are working hard to organise the
Scientific programme. Once
all the details are ready and finalised we will share with you. We are also updating the
website.
