Dear Salvatore,

Thank you for providing this  (I refer to your LML dated July 20^th, 2007).

While the global trend is clear, as you know this is overwhelmingly dominated by the data from India.  It would be useful to see the trend of the world picture without India, as well as including India, the decline in the SE Asia region (with and without India), and similarly the trends in the African region, the Eastern Mediterranean and in the Americas.  These make slightly more sobering viewing.
