Dear All,
I have just returned from visiting The Leprosy Mission's
programme in Mozambique and would appreciate your help on identifying
the following training materials and courses:
1.
Firstly, we are looking for a 3 month course for doctors on
common skin disease (including leprosy). It will need to be in
Portuguese. The Leprosy Mission plan to work with the Government
of Mozambique to establish a specialist skin clinic and want to send
two doctors for training. I would be grateful if anyone could
recommend any suitable courses. It
would also be useful if you could let me know of any courses
that include training on alternative treatments for skin conditions.
2.
We are looking
for training materials for nurses and doctors on skin diseases. They need to be very pictorial
and practical. If these were available in Portuguese it would be
most useful, alternatively we would translate them.
3.
We are
also looking for materials to train trainers of trainers in leprosy
self care activities. If anyone know of any suitable resources
can you please get in touch.
