As part of the 50th
anniversary celebrations of Anandaban Hospital, we would like to
invite you to join us for an international symposium, “Remaining
Challenges in Leprosy”. This
will take place from September 5- 8th 2007, in the Hotel
Yak and Yeti in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The meeting: despite the
great strides that have been made in dealing with the problems of
leprosy, many challenges remain to be faced. This meeting is intended
to bring together experts in all aspects of leprosy, to present new
research findings and to discuss problems. Distinguished experts will
deliver a number of plenary lectures, giving a state of the art
overview of different aspects of the disease. Confirmed plenary
lecturers include Prof Warwick Britton (University of Sydney,
Australia), Dr David Scollard (Louisiana State University, USA) and
Prof Patrick Brennan (Colorado State University, USA) and Dr Kantun
(WHO, Nepal).
The venue: Hotel Yak and Yeti
is one the premier hotels in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal.
Conveniently located close to the centre of this historic city, the
hotel combines modern amenities with traditional Newari architecture.
The country: the beautiful
