I am reacting
to the presentation by Dr. Ranawaka (LML Oct. 31st, 2008).
Atypical ENL reactions in histoid leprosy have been described in the
past and so has softening and ulceration of histoid lesions during
treatment. The described
seems to fit in one or
other of the above.
What was the rationale for giving ofloxacin? That may help colleagues to
advise on how long it should be continued?
