). I agree with
the "elimination of the elimination goal" in
Brazil
.
The
WHO leprosy “elimination” strategy was a good idea in the very
beginning but now we can see that the problem is still the same as
before - lots of patients to be diagnosed in most of the endemic
states. In
Brazil
it was necessary to restart the leprosy control programme.
